Every year the Free Community Meal brings together 504 neighbors in Southampton. I help organize it with 6 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

  • Hope things get better soon, Logan. Shared this with my family. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. All the best

    • Sending strength, Logan. Great idea, hope you get there. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Christchurch
