Volunteer day: Free Community Meal, San Fernando
Give a few hours to the Free Community Meal - everyone is welcome and no experience is needed.
🇵🇭 San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines493 views
Every year the Free Community Meal brings together 329 neighbors in San Fernando. I help organize it with 8 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Thank you for reading my story.

Sending strength. Shared it with a few friends. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We're a small family in Glasgow but we're thinking of you. Thinking of San Fernando
Sending good thoughts, Bea. Your post was clear and honest. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it
