Volunteer day: Free Community Meal, Québec
We're short of hands for the Free Community Meal; can you spare a morning?
🇨🇦 Québec, Quebec, Canada376 views
Every year the Free Community Meal brings together 466 neighbors in Québec. I help organize it with 5 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.

you're not alone. More neighborhoods should do this. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
Hope you get there. My neighbor in Addis Ababa donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Québec.
