Volunteer day: Free Community Meal, Nagpur
Give a few hours to the Free Community Meal - everyone is welcome and no experience is needed.
🇮🇳 Maharashtra, India352 views
Every year the Free Community Meal brings together 318 neighbors in Nagpur. I help organize it with 12 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Thinking of you, Umesh. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
