Volunteer day: Free Community Meal, Manchester
Our small team in Manchester is running the Free Community Meal and needs volunteers for set-up, serving and clean-up.
🇬🇧 England, United Kingdom874 views
Every year the Free Community Meal brings together 514 neighbors in Manchester. I help organize it with 4 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Thank you so much.

Hope things get better soon, Vivian. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. Thinking of Manchester.
Praying for you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Take care
