Volunteer day: Free Community Meal, Los Angeles
We're short of hands for the Free Community Meal; can you spare a morning?
🇺🇸 California, United States1,037 views
Every year the Free Community Meal brings together 245 neighbors in Los Angeles. I help organize it with 4 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Thanks for being kind about this.
