Volunteer day: Free Community Meal, İzmir
Our small team in İzmir is running the Free Community Meal and needs volunteers for set-up, serving and clean-up.

Every year the Free Community Meal brings together 459 neighbors in İzmir. I help organize it with 4 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Thank you so much.

Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. I hope December is when things finally get easier. God bless.
wishing you the best, Okan. This could happen to any of us. I have a 7 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
Best of luck. Great idea, hope you get there. Thinking of İzmir.
