Volunteer day: Free Community Meal, Brooklyn
We're short of hands for the Free Community Meal; can you spare a morning?
🇺🇸 Brooklyn, New York, United States498 views
Every year the Free Community Meal brings together 529 neighbors in Brooklyn. I help organize it with 10 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

So sorry you're going through this, Nuria. I hope things turn around soon. After 16 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything
