Every year the Community Soup Kitchen Night brings together 110 neighbors in El Paso. I help organize it with 10 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Thanks for sharing this, Frank. Shared it with a few friends. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.

          • Best of luck, Frank. More neighborhoods should do this. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. God bless
