Volunteer day: Community Soup Kitchen Night, Chicago

We're short of hands for the Community Soup Kitchen Night; can you spare a morning?

Every year the Community Soup Kitchen Night brings together 256 neighbors in Chicago. I help organize it with 12 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. Thank you so much.

Good luck, Arianna. Shared this with my family. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money!
