Volunteer day: Clean Streets Saturday, Thane
We're short of hands for the Clean Streets Saturday; can you spare a morning?
🇮🇳 Maharashtra, India557 views
Every year the Clean Streets Saturday brings together 159 neighbors in Thane. I help organize it with 5 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for set-up, serving, translation and clean-up. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

You're not alone, Vandana. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in.
Praying for you. More neighborhoods should do this. Thinking of Thane.
