Volunteer day: Clean Streets Saturday, Tel Aviv

We're short of hands for the Clean Streets Saturday; can you spare a morning?

Every year the Clean Streets Saturday brings together 491 neighbors in Tel Aviv. I help organize it with 11 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for set-up, serving, translation and clean-up. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. Thank you for reading my story.

          • Praying for you. Shared it with a few friends. I went through something like this 11 years ago and strangers helped me out. All the best
