Volunteer day: Clean Streets Saturday, Southampton
We are short of hands for the Clean Streets Saturday; can you spare a morning?
🇬🇧 Southampton, England, United Kingdom509 views
Every year the Clean Streets Saturday brings together 288 neighbors in Southampton. I help organize it with 5 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for serving food, washing up and welcoming guests. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Sending good thoughts. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. My husband and I read this together. Love from Casablanca!
You're not alone, Nargis. It takes guts to ask. Well done. God bless
