Volunteer day: Clean Streets Saturday, Riverside
Our small team in Riverside is running the Clean Streets Saturday and needs volunteers for set-up, serving and clean-up.
🇺🇸 Riverside, California, United States915 views
Every year the Clean Streets Saturday brings together 470 neighbors in Riverside. I help organize it with 8 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for serving food, washing up and welcoming guests. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Thanks for sharing this, Miguel. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Nîmes.
