Volunteer day: Clean Streets Saturday, Giza
Give a few hours to the Clean Streets Saturday - everyone is welcome and no experience is needed.
🇪🇬 Giza, Giza, Egypt564 views
Every year the Clean Streets Saturday brings together 520 neighbors in Giza. I help organize it with 10 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
- effort
- 3-hour shift
- format
- In person in Giza
- skills
- friendly attitude, willingness to help

Best of luck, Hana. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I have a 16 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
a colleague of mine might know someone for this in Giza. I'll ask around and let you know
take care, Hana. Hope you get there. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless

Keep going, Hana. This could happen to any of us. Thinking of Giza.
Take care, Hana. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Take care.
