Volunteer day: Clean Streets Saturday, Charlotte
We're short of hands for the Clean Streets Saturday; can you spare a morning?
🇺🇸 North Carolina, United States820 views
Every year the Clean Streets Saturday brings together 399 neighbors in Charlotte. I help organize it with 10 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
