Volunteer day: Clean Streets Saturday, Austin
Our small team in Austin is running the Clean Streets Saturday and needs volunteers for set-up, serving and clean-up.
🇺🇸 Texas, United States61 views
Every year the Clean Streets Saturday brings together 518 neighbors in Austin. I help organize it with 8 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for serving food, washing up and welcoming guests. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Glad we found this place.

Praying for you, Joseph. Great idea, hope you get there. I went through something like this 11 years ago and strangers helped me out. All the best.
Good luck, Joseph. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Blessings
