Vijay can't leave home - help build a ramp
Materials are donated. We need two carpenters and a helper for a weekend in Howrah.

Vijay has used a wheelchair since 2023, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Vijay can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate eight hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Vijay's family will cook lunch for the team.
Glad we found this place.

Best of luck. I hope things turn around soon. My husband and I read this together. Greetings from Kinondoni.
