Vichai wants to stay at home - help fund eight months of care
Vichai, 86, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $1,300 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for me, who's 86. After a fall and hip fracture Vichai can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Vichai desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Vichai worked all of his life as a carpenter, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• Part-time carer (eight months): $920
• Medication and prescriptions: $170
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $55
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $155
