Veteran in need: Sergio's next mission is stability
Sergio served four years in the navy; $5,050 would cover a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment.

I served four years in the navy and was discharged in 2024 with a service-related knee injury. I have been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment. The quote I have comes to $5,050.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $5,050 goes:
• Transport to appointments: $610
• Housing deposit and first month: $1,350
• Training provider fees: $3,090
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
