Valentina earned a place in Year 11 at São Paulo Girls' High School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $150, which is more than they have.
Valentina loves design and technology and wants to become a teacher. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $150 goes:
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $15
• Textbooks and workbooks: $85
• School uniform and shoes: $50
