I'm ninety days into recovery from alcohol dependence. I attend meetings and see a counselor, but the weeks between meetings are the hardest. I'd love a mentor - someone who has a year or more of recovery and who would be willing to talk once a week. I'm not looking for a replacement for treatment. I'm looking for someone who understands what a bad Tuesday night feels like. I'd prefer someone who's happy to do video calls. Any country is fine. I'll be respectful of your time and boundaries, and happy to pay it forward later. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  • Sending strength. Get well soon. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.

    • Praying for you, Valentina. Hope the doctors have good news. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Setagaya

      • You're not alone. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. All the best.

        • Keep going, Valentina. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Wish I lived closer to Embakasi so I could bring a meal.
