I'm launching a co-working café in Salem next August. I have saved the start-up funds myself, but I have never run a business before. I've questions about pricing, suppliers, simple bookkeeping, hiring and - frankly - how not to burn out.
I'm looking for a mentor with real small-business experience, ideally in a co-working café, willing to have a monthly call for the first four months. I'll bring a list of questions and my numbers.
If you have a few hours a month, and enjoy helping someone avoid the mistakes you made, I'd really appreciate it.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
- effort
- 1 hour a month
- format
- Online or by phone
- skills
- small business experience, bookkeeping, pricing

thinking of you, Vaibhav. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best.
best of luck, Vaibhav. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Put this on a community board in Kakamega this morning.
sending strength. Hope you get there. My neighbor in Montego Bay donated after I showed her your page.
Thanks for sharing this, Vaibhav. Small businesses are the heart of Salem. Hope you're open again soon. Greetings from Sakai
