Uyên is applying to university - who can guide us?
Looking for a graduate who can spend an hour a week reviewing Uyên's essays until July.

I'm Uyên, 16, in Grade 12. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study journalism.
I have a 3.9 average, I volunteer at the local library and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until July. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.

Sending strength. Gave what I could, wish it was more. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Blessings.
thanks for sharing this. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Hồ Chí Minh City.
good luck, Uyên. Hope you get there. Don't be hard on yourself for asking!
Shared this with my family. Greetings from Mbale.
Hope things get better soon. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. I have a 7 year old who wants to send good wishes too
Good luck, Uyên. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 10 years in logistics I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
