Used laptop wanted: Tshepo is studying software engineering without a computer
Tshepo is studying software engineering on a phone; a used laptop would let Tshepo do assignments properly.

I'm Tshepo, a software engineering student in Soweto. My laptop broke 5 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Soweto.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Hope things get better soon, Tshepo. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. I'm in engineering myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Take care
Shared this with my family. We're a small family in Colombo but we're thinking of you.
