Used laptop wanted: Sharmila is studying graphic design without a computer
Sharmila is studying graphic design on a phone; a used laptop would let Sharmila do assignments properly.

I'm Sharmila, a graphic design student in Kathmandu. My laptop broke 2 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Kathmandu.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Rooting for you. Your post was clear and honest. Love from Kansas City
Thanks for sharing this. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Blessings.
Take care. Looking forward to the next update. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Ottawa.
hope it all works out. I hope things turn around soon. After 30 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything.

Stay strong, Sharmila. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I'm in nursing myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
Wishing you peace, Sharmila. Shared it with a few friends. After 22 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best
