Used laptop wanted: Rubén is studying software engineering without a computer
Rubén is studying software engineering on a phone; a used laptop would let Rubén do assignments properly.

I'm Rubén, a software engineering student in Alcalá de Henares. My laptop broke 5 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Alcalá de Henares.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
Thanks for being kind about this.

thinking of you and your family, Rubén. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend.
