Used laptop wanted: Nicholas is studying public health without a computer
Do you have a laptop collecting dust? Nicholas needs one for online coursework.

I'm Nicholas, a public health student in Los Angeles. My laptop broke 6 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Los Angeles.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
Glad we found this place.

Your post was clear and honest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Kasarani.
It takes guts to ask. Well done. I went through something like this 12 years ago and strangers helped me out. All the best.
Thinking of you, Nicholas. This could happen to any of us. I went through something like this 8 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings
Wishing you the best. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Blessings
Praying for you, Nicholas. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best.
Praying for you. I hope things turn around soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double!
Sending good thoughts, Nicholas. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. Wish I lived closer to Adelaide so I could bring a meal. Blessings.
Take care, Nicholas. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier
