Used laptop wanted: Lily is studying law without a computer
Lily is studying law on a phone; a used laptop would let Lily do assignments properly.

I'm Lily, a law student in Leeds. My laptop broke 5 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Leeds.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Best of luck, Lily. I hope things turn around soon. Blessings
Wishing you the best, Lily. Shared this with my family. I went through something like this 13 years ago and strangers helped me out. All the best.
Keep going. Shared this with my family. I'm in hospitality myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Thinking of Leeds.
stay strong. Study hard! Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
