Used laptop wanted: Haris is studying accounting without a computer
A modest, working laptop is all that stands between Haris and a full online workload.

I'm Haris, an accounting student in Jakarta Selatan. My laptop broke 7 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Jakarta Selatan.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Shared it with a few friends. Sent it to 19 people at work. Love from Oakland.
So sorry you're going through this, Haris. This could happen to any of us. My neighbor in Mombasa donated after I showed her your page. Take care.
Thinking of you and your family, Haris. Your post was clear and honest. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best
