Used laptop wanted: Giulia is studying teaching without a computer
Do you have a laptop collecting dust? Giulia needs one for online coursework.

I'm Giulia, a teaching student in Bergamo. My laptop broke 5 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Bergamo.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Thinking of you and your family, Giulia. Hope this works out for you. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend!
best of luck, Giulia. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
Sending good thoughts. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Take care
Thinking of you and your family. Your post was clear and honest. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it!
