Used laptop wanted: Craig is studying public health without a computer
Do you have a laptop collecting dust? Craig needs one for online coursework.

I'm Craig, a public health student in Soweto. My laptop broke 3 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Soweto.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
Thanks for being kind about this.

so sorry you're going through this, Craig. Hope this works out for you. We're a small family in Cardiff but we're thinking of you. Love from Cardiff
Rooting for you, Craig. Hope this works out for you!
So sorry you're going through this. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'm in engineering myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. God bless.
Good luck, Craig. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. All the best.
Keep going. This could happen to any of us. My neighbor in Glasgow donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Soweto
