Used laptop wanted: Beth is studying nursing without a computer
Do you have a laptop collecting dust? Beth needs one for online coursework.

I'm Beth, a nursing student in London. My laptop broke 4 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in London.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

You're not alone. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
as a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. I'm in nursing myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you
