Used laptop wanted: Alexa is studying social work without a computer
Do you have a laptop collecting dust? Alexa needs one for online coursework.

I'm Alexa, a social work student in Newcastle upon Tyne. My laptop broke 6 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Newcastle upon Tyne.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
Thank you for reading my story.

Hang in there, Alexa. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes.
As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. I hope June is when things finally get easier. Love from Nagpur.
Sending strength. I hope things turn around soon. Wish I lived closer to Liverpool so I could bring a meal. All the best.
Your post was clear and honest. Please keep us posted. Greetings from Pune.
