Used laptop wanted: Alberto is studying public health without a computer
A modest, working laptop is all that stands between Alberto and a full online workload.

I'm Alberto, a public health student in San Francisco. My laptop broke 6 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in San Francisco.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Best of luck, Alberto. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. I went through something like this 12 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of San Francisco.
