Used laptop wanted: Akinyi is studying social work without a computer
A modest, working laptop is all that stands between Akinyi and a full online workload.

I'm Akinyi, a social work student in Kasarani. My laptop broke 7 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Kasarani.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

good luck, Akinyi. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My neighbor in Orlando donated after I showed her your page. All the best.
Hang in there, Akinyi. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. Please keep us posted. Thinking of Kasarani.
So sorry you're going through this. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Thinking of Kasarani.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Greetings from Wiesbaden.
Sending good thoughts, Akinyi. It takes guts to ask. Well done
Sending good thoughts. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Sent it to 8 people at work. Blessings
Rooting for you, Akinyi. Your post was clear and honest. Greetings from Lapu-Lapu.
I hope things turn around soon. I hope April is when things finally get easier. Take care
Hope things get better soon, Akinyi. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
Hope it all works out. Looking forward to the next update. Put this on a community board in Derry this morning. All the best.
Hope it all works out. Shared it with a few friends. I have a 5 year old who wants to send good wishes too. God bless
