Union Park needs a rainwater harvesting system - Maëlle's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a rainwater harvesting system - we need $1,750 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 16 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Union Park, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $1,750.
It will serve about 150 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Materials: $1,100
• Permits and inspections: $145
• Safety equipment and signage: $260
• Tools hire and delivery: $245
