Two weekends of roof repair for William, a disabled veteran in Los Angeles
William, a disabled veteran, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 1-weekend roof repair in Los Angeles.

I'm a disabled veteran living in Los Angeles. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the living room is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $4,100, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the shingles and underlay. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for a small crew who can help over two Saturdays.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Thank you so much.

So sorry you're going through this. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. My husband and I read this together. Take care.
