Two weekends of roof repair for Faith, a night-shift nurse in Raleigh
Faith, a night-shift nurse, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 2-weekend roof repair in Raleigh.

I'm a night-shift nurse living in Raleigh. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the kids' bedroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $2,650, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the tiles and battens. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for three or four volunteers who can help over two Saturdays.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Stay strong, Faith. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Love from Bengaluru.
Take care. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Manukau.
