Tuition fund for Xolani: an agriculture degree at Soweto University
A first-generation student, Xolani needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of an agriculture degree.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an agriculture degree at Soweto University, and I'm one term away from graduating. I have worked as a delivery rider to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $1,050.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a top-ten-percent average, and my department head has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Soweto University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Xolani
Textbooks and materials is $50 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Thanks for looking so closely.
