Waleed is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a law degree at Berlin Community College, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $4,250. The registrar has said Waleed can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Waleed has a first-class average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Waleed would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Waleed isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Berlin Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $4,250 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $1,350 • Final term tuition: $2,550 • Exam and lab fees: $155 • Textbooks and materials: $195 If you're reading this, thank you.
