I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a degree in social work at the Vadodara Institute of Technology, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a library assistant to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $650. The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.9 average, and my department head has written in support of my application for a payment plan. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility. I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Vadodara Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $650 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $300 • Final term tuition: $340 • Exam and lab fees: $10 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure. - Tushar

  • You're not alone, Tushar. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. God bless
