Tuition fund for Thiện: a degree in social work at Thủ Đức Polytechnic

Thiện is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in social work at Thủ Đức Polytechnic, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,000. The registrar has said Thiện can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Thiện has a top-ten-percent average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Thiện would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Thiện isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $1,000 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $380 • Final term tuition: $540 • Exam and lab fees: $40 • Textbooks and materials: $40 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
