Tuition fund for Sharmila: a degree in civil engineering at Narayanganj Community College
A first-generation student, Sharmila needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a degree in civil engineering.

Sharmila is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a degree in civil engineering at Narayanganj Community College, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $200.
The registrar has said Sharmila can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Sharmila has a distinction average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Sharmila would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Sharmila isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Narayanganj Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $200 goes:
• Textbooks and materials: $45
• Outstanding tuition balance: $115
• Exam and lab fees: $40

Praying for you, Noman. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Take care
You're not alone. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. God bless!
hang in there, Noman. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Wish I lived closer to Madurai so I could bring a meal.
