Tuition fund for Rocío: a degree in civil engineering at Mendoza Community College

Rocío is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a degree in civil engineering at Mendoza Community College, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,250. The registrar has said Rocío can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Rocío has a 3.9 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Rocío would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Rocío isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Mendoza Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $1,250 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $240 • Final term tuition: $860 • Exam and lab fees: $75 • Textbooks and materials: $75 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
