Tuition fund for Nimra: a degree in civil engineering at the Faisalabad Institute of Technology

Nimra is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a degree in civil engineering at the Faisalabad Institute of Technology, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $650. The registrar has said Nimra can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Nimra has a 3.9 average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Nimra would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Nimra isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Faisalabad Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $650 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $320 • Final term tuition: $290 • Exam and lab fees: $40 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
