I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a degree in social work at Mbarara State College, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a delivery rider to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $350.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a first-class average, and my faculty supervisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Mbarara State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $350 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $310
• Exam and lab fees: $15
• Textbooks and materials: $25
I hope life is good to you.

Wishing you peace, Muthoni. I hope things turn around soon. It's not much but it's yours
Looking forward to the next update. Thinking of Mbarara!
Good luck, Muthoni. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Take care.
Study hard! Sent it to 40 people at work. Thinking of Mbarara.
