Tuition fund for Mukasa: an accounting degree at Nairobi Polytechnic
Mukasa has worked and saved for three years to study an accounting degree; a $800 gap now stands between him and graduation.

Mukasa is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an accounting degree at Nairobi Polytechnic, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $800.
The registrar has said Mukasa can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Mukasa has a top-ten-percent average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Mukasa would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Mukasa isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Nairobi Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.

• Exam and lab fees: $20
