Tuition fund for Lakshmi: an accounting degree at Mumbai Polytechnic
A first-generation student, Lakshmi needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of an accounting degree.

Lakshmi is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an accounting degree at Mumbai Polytechnic, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $600.
The registrar has said Lakshmi can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Lakshmi has a first-class average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Lakshmi would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Lakshmi isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Mumbai Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
