Glasgow
Joseph is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in social work at Glasgow University, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,250. The registrar has said Joseph can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Joseph has a distinction average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Joseph would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Joseph isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Glasgow University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $1,250 goes: • Exam and lab fees: $200 • Outstanding tuition balance: $880 • Textbooks and materials: $170 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
